Alliance and Tandem Isko-Sara formed by Visayas Groups

The Visayas for Isko-Sara Alliance (VISA) was established here on Friday, February 18 and the group has pledged to gather enough votes to ensure success Moreno and Duterte Tandem. The groups VISA includes Inisyatiba Makabayang Pagbabago, Partido Pananghiusa, SIMBA, Isulong Sebisyo in Katawhan Na Organisado (ISKO) Alang Isko, Ikaw Muna Pilipinas, Ordinaryong Lungsoranon, Task Force Crusaders, Duterte Riders Team, F4, Samar Group for Isko, CIGOTON, Isko Na Bai, Blue Ladies for Isko and Women for Isko.

Legal expert Jose Daluz, president of Partido Panaghiusa, said that for the love of the country they voted for Moreno in addition to Duterte even though they both come from different political parties.

“We don’t need any funds of these people. We’re doing this for the love of our nation,” said Daluz.

“The group isn’t aiming for a an exact number of votes it could win to Moreno and the daughter of the president. It’s more important that there are groups that can assist in propelling both of them towards an election in Malacanang,” Daluz said.

“We do not care about the number of votes we get. We are just trying to join forces and assist Isko as well as Sara. These are volunteer groups. We do not even need to contact whether they are for candidates,” Daluz said.

In their roles as mayors in “premier cities”, Moreno and Duterte have demonstrated their abilities as public official, Daluz said.

“Isko is going to be a excellent president in his next 6 years,, especially in the event that his vice president will be Sara Duterte. Both are Bisaya. It’s not difficult to say that they’ve accomplished quite a bit within their respective cities.” Daluz said.

The group also brushed off recent research results that place Moreno at the bottom of the table.

“We don’t believe in surveys and there are surveys that are just for mind-conditioning,” Daluz said.

Edward Ligas, convenor of ISKO said that they are convinced that Moreno’s position will rise as the campaign progresses.
“The poll was taken prior to the presidential debates, and Isko was yet to personal campaign for the presidency at the time. In the next few days, the trends is likely to shift towards Isko,” Ligas said.

Wagas said that creation of VISA will draw more groups to join Moreno.
