Find Strength in the Lord

Find strength in the Lord

Ever seen a movie about a time traveler where the main character goes back in time and tries to fix the problems, but then returns to the present to make things worse? This is what 2022 felt like!

We seem to be just able to find our feet with each new crisis. This world is in turmoil, ravaged by disasters, calamities and contagions. It’s time for a new generation of women, daughters of God, filled with the Holy Ghost, to help it all.

This season has brought us all deep transformation and a lot of hope. It could have been a breakup or other adversity. You may have had to deal with anxiety, illness or the loss of a loved one. Each woman’s story is different.

My conviction is that we were made to fight and win in the most difficult of circumstances. We don’t have to be alone. God is with us. We can’t lose sight of this truth; it holds the key to our true identity.

We are at risk of believing lies from the enemy if we forget who God is.

  • Your appearance is your most important trait.
  • You are defined by what you do and how you get there.
  • Your worth must be proven
  • Everyone’s happiness is your responsibility.
  • This is not something you can recover from.

Each one of these lies is designed to depress, distract, discourage, and discourage us. These lies are small and insignificant at first, but they become more convincing over time. We begin to question who we really are as a result of the constant reminders of these lies every day.

We must be able to identify who we are in order to do the best God can for us. Uncertainty about who we are is exactly why lies from the enemy can cause us to stumble. John 10:10 reveals the enemy’s deceitful mission. But it also reveals God’s ultimate plan for us when He believes in Him and who He made us to be.

We are part of the direct lineage to the King of all the universe. This is our true identity and the enemy cannot steal it from us.

Because of this truth, our calling has been clear. Our mission is to love Him and to know Him. We are not called to please people, but God-pleasers. It’s not necessary to give up when things get tough, but to trust God and receive strength from Him.

You can’t destroy a woman who receives her strength from God.

The Holy Spirit is a living presence in believers. We cannot continue to feel powerless and helpless. We are empowered every day by the Spirit of God, no matter what life throws at our way.

No matter what lies you may hear, you are saved because Jesus saved you. Jesus loves you and makes you worthy of His love. Because He empowers, you are worthy of more in the world.

It’s not about what you can do by yourself to be a woman of God. It is about being strong in Christ and the work He does through you.

God can help us partner with Him and push into the future He has planned for us. No matter what kind of adversity we face or what obstacles we encounter, we can trust in Him.

You are a princess of the King filled with the Holy Spirit and standing firm on the promise that God made you and called you to abundant life in Him.
