Dean Cain, known for his role in "Lois & Clark," recently announced that he has joined the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In a video shared on X, he encouraged others to consider joining the agency as well. Cain, who is already a sworn law enforcement officer, expressed his commitment to serving and protecting Americans.
In the video, Cain emphasized the importance of taking action rather than just talking about safety. He stated, “JOIN ICE! We need your help to protect America.” He highlighted the significant role that ICE plays in arresting dangerous criminals, including terrorists and gang members, since the Trump administration took office. Cain believes that helping to remove these threats from the streets is crucial for the safety of all citizens.
He also shared information about the benefits of joining ICE, including a $50,000 signing bonus recently announced by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Cain noted that there is no college degree requirement for new agents, making it accessible for many people who want to serve their country.
During a discussion with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Cain mentioned that he is unsure of his specific duties within ICE but expressed his willingness to take on any role necessary. He stated, “I will do whatever Director [Todd] Lyons wants me to do.” Cain reflected on the need for support for law enforcement, saying that it is rare to see someone stand up for the brave men and women working in these roles.
Cain’s announcement comes at a time when ICE is looking to recruit new agents. With his background and enthusiasm, he aims to inspire others to join the fight against crime and help protect American families.
