Chase Chrisley Speaks Out on Parents Todd and Julies Pardon from Trump

Savannah Chrisley and her family are celebrating a significant moment as former President Donald Trump announced plans to pardon her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley. This news comes after the couple was convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022 and has been serving sentences in separate prisons since January 2023.

Chase Chrisley, Savannah’s older brother, expressed his gratitude in an exclusive statement, saying, “I am grateful to God and extremely grateful to President Trump and his entire administration. I’m beyond thankful to finally have my parents back home and my family together again!” The Chrisleys gained fame through their reality show, “Chrisley Knows Best,” which showcased their lavish lifestyle.

Todd, 56, was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie, 52, received a seven-year sentence. They were accused of defrauding the government by submitting fake documents to secure over $30 million in loans. Trump’s announcement came during a phone call with Savannah on May 27, where he assured her that her parents would be “free and clean” soon.

Savannah shared her emotional reaction to the news, stating, “We are freaking out over here. I have shed so many tears.” She mentioned that her family was already preparing for her parents’ return, getting clothes and setting up their room. The Chrisley family attorney, Alex Little, commented on the pardon, calling it a correction of a “deep injustice” and highlighting the political bias that he believes influenced their prosecution.

The pardons are especially timely for the Chrisleys, as Todd had previously expressed concern about Julie’s well-being during her incarceration. The couple’s legal troubles have drawn significant media attention, and Savannah has been vocal about her support for Trump and her parents throughout the ordeal.

In a heartfelt moment, Trump told Savannah and her brother Grayson during the call, “Just congratulate your parents – I hear they are terrific people. This should not have happened.” With the pardons, the Chrisley family hopes to start anew and heal from the challenges they have faced.
