Dolores Catania Shares How Kate Chastain Spoiled Scotland Experience for Future ‘Traitors’ Contestants

Dolores Catania recently made headlines by claiming that Kate Chastain spoiled the experience of filming “The Traitors” in Scotland for future contestants. During a live event for Page Six, Catania shared her thoughts on Chastain’s controversial behavior while on the show.

Catania explained that contestants have limited access to their cell phones during filming. However, she alleged that Chastain found a way to communicate with friends outside the show using the TV remote. Once the producers discovered this, they took away the remote controls from all the contestants to prevent any further outside communication. Catania said, “I heard Kate Chastain learned how to talk to her friends with the clicker, and so they took it away from everyone.”

The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star elaborated on how Chastain reportedly used YouTube through the TV to send messages, which she speculated could have been a way to email. Catania praised Chastain’s cleverness, calling her “smart and brilliant.”

Chastain, known for her role on “Below Deck,” was a contestant on the first two seasons of “The Traitors” and made a brief appearance in Season 3 during a life-sized chess challenge. In her return, she teamed up with “Survivor” alum Parvati Shallow, taking on the role of a queen in the game.

Catania’s comments come just before the Season 3 finale of “The Traitors,” which aired recently. She expressed frustration over the gameplay, stating that some contestants were eliminated too early, leaving her friends upset. She mentioned that fellow contestants Dorinda Medley and Chanel Ayan were particularly unhappy about their early departures.

As the drama unfolds on the show, Catania warns that her fellow “Traitors” stars may face tough times during the reunion with the “Real Housewives” cast. The first three seasons of “The Traitors” are currently available for streaming on Peacock.
