A newly formed task force by President Donald Trump has highlighted what it describes as widespread anti-Christian bias in the U.S. government during President Biden’s administration. The Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi, released a preliminary report detailing various incidents that allegedly show discrimination against Christians and other religious groups.
The report claims that multiple government agencies, including the Department of Defense, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor, mishandled requests for religious exemptions related to COVID-19 vaccine mandates. This mandate was ultimately blocked by the U.S. Supreme Court after legal challenges.
Additionally, the Department of Education is accused of targeting Christian colleges like Liberty University and Grand Canyon University with hefty fines. The report also mentions that the Department of Treasury removed banking services from several pro-Christian organizations.
One of the more serious allegations involves the use of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act against pro-life Christians. The report states that the Biden administration prosecuted peaceful pro-life protesters while failing to protect pro-life pregnancy centers and churches that faced vandalism and violence.
Another significant point raised in the report is a memo from the FBI that labeled “radical-traditionalist” Catholics as potential domestic terrorism threats. This has raised concerns about the government’s treatment of certain religious groups.
The report concludes that investigations into these matters are ongoing, but it asserts that there is clear evidence of anti-religious bias against Christians during Biden’s time in office. The task force is committed to addressing these issues over the next twenty months, aiming to ensure that all faiths are treated equally under the law.
Attorney General Bondi emphasized the importance of religious freedom, stating that the government should not act against faith. The task force aims to eliminate any bias against Christians in federal operations, reinforcing the idea that faith is a fundamental liberty in America.
