Tom Krause, a Silicon Valley CEO, joined DOGE to apply standards from the private sector to government operations. Tyler Hassen, an executive from the energy sector, joined DOGE out of a sense of duty. He has already made significant cost-saving changes within the Department of the Interior by canceling unnecessary contracts.
