He urged Zelenskyy to express gratitude for American support, suggesting that he should be more appreciative of President Trump’s efforts to end the conflict.
Zelenskyy, however, defended his position and questioned Vance’s understanding of Ukraine’s situation. He pointed out that Vance had never visited Ukraine, to which Vance responded by dismissing the need for firsthand experience, claiming that visits were often mere "propaganda tours."
