He reflected on his experience, saying, “I could see my lifetime. After what he perceived as a moment of death, Renner felt a force urging him to return to his body. He survived the accident but suffered extensive injuries, breaking over 30 bones. Despite the severity of his injuries, Renner expressed that writing about the incident has been a cathartic process for him.
