Pam Bondi Cautions Jasmine Crockett About Inciting Attacks on Elon Musk

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a stern warning to Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) following inflammatory remarks she made about Elon Musk. During an interview on Fox News, Bondi addressed comments from Crockett, who suggested that she wanted Musk "taken down" on her birthday. This statement comes amid a rise in attacks on Tesla vehicles and dealerships, which Bondi labeled as acts of domestic terrorism.

Bondi expressed her concerns during a Sunday interview with Maria Bartiromo. She emphasized that Crockett, as an elected official, should be cautious with her words. "This is domestic terrorism," Bondi stated, referring to the recent violence against Tesla properties. She criticized Crockett for her remarks, which she interpreted as a call for violence, despite Crockett’s claims that she was not advocating for any harm.

Crockett’s comments had been made in the context of her role on the DOGE Oversight Committee, where she spoke about the need for action against those in power. She stated, "The only language that the people in charge understand right now is money." Bondi, however, stressed that such rhetoric could lead to real consequences.

In response to the attacks on Tesla, Bondi revealed that three individuals have been charged federally for their involvement. She described the attacks as serious, involving Molotov cocktails and arson at Tesla dealerships and charging stations. Bondi assured the public that the government is taking these incidents seriously and that those responsible could face up to 20 years in prison.

Bondi concluded her remarks by reaffirming the commitment to protect Tesla owners and to address the rising tide of violence. She urged Crockett and others to be mindful of their statements, emphasizing that the safety of individuals and businesses must come first.
