Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing serious allegations in a new lawsuit filed by a woman identified as Jane Doe. The lawsuit claims that Combs raped her in July 2001 after they had met a couple of months earlier in New York City. According to court documents, the two had spent time together at various venues, including nightclubs and his recording studio.
The lawsuit alleges that after a night out, Combs took Doe to his apartment, where he allegedly locked her in a bedroom. She claims he then forced her onto the bed, put his hand around her throat, and made a threatening statement. The woman describes that Combs then exposed himself, comparing his size to that of a "large Tootsie Roll."
In her lawsuit, Doe claims she was initially relieved by his size, believing it would make intercourse less painful. However, she asserts that when she told Combs to stop and that she did not consent, he overpowered her. The lawsuit states that he ejaculated on her afterward, and when she tried to leave, a bodyguard allegedly directed her to the exit.
Following the incident, Doe claims she stopped responding to Combs’ calls and sought therapy to cope with the trauma she experienced. She is now seeking damages for emotional and physical distress caused by the alleged assault.
Combs, now 55, has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct. His legal team issued a statement asserting that he has never sexually assaulted anyone, regardless of gender or age. They expressed confidence that the judicial process would reveal the truth and that Combs would prevail in court.
This lawsuit comes as Combs is already involved in a separate sex-trafficking trial that began on May 5 in New York City. The serious nature of the allegations and the ongoing legal troubles surrounding the music mogul have placed him in the spotlight, raising questions about accountability and the impact of such accusations on his career and reputation.
