The conservative community will gather in Arizona on Sunday, September 21, to honor the late Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA. The memorial service will take place at the Arizona Cardinals’ NFL stadium, which can hold over 60,000 people and has hosted several Super Bowls.
Among the speakers at the event will be prominent figures such as former President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, will also address attendees. She has recently taken on her husband’s role as CEO and Board Chair of Turning Point USA.
In a powerful statement, Erika vowed that her husband’s assassination would only strengthen the organization. “The evildoers responsible for my husband’s assassination, they have no idea what they have done,” she declared. She expressed her commitment to continuing Charlie’s mission, saying, “The movement my husband built will not die. It won’t. I refuse to let that happen.”
The event is set to be streamed live by The Daily Wire at 2:00 p.m. ET, allowing many who cannot attend in person to participate in the tribute. The conservative movement is expected to show strong support for Kirk, who played a significant role in shaping Trump’s political agenda.
Trump shared his thoughts on Kirk in an Oval Office address, calling him a patriot and a martyr for truth and freedom. He also announced that Kirk would posthumously receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, highlighting his impact on American politics and the youth.
As the day approaches, the atmosphere is one of remembrance and resolve, as friends, family, and supporters come together to celebrate the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk.
