Is Sinners Available to Stream on Netflix or HBO Max?

This weekend, moviegoers can look forward to the release of "Sinners," a new film directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Michael B. Jordan. The film opens in theaters on Friday, April 18, and it promises to be an exciting mix of genres, combining elements of action, horror, and a historical setting.

"Sinners" features Jordan in a unique dual role as twin brothers, Smoke and Stack. The story is set in the 1930s in the Southern United States, where the brothers return to their hometown only to face a lurking evil. Alongside Jordan, the cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Li Jun Li, and Delroy Lindo. Critics have already praised the film, giving it rave reviews and suggesting it’s a must-see on the big screen.

Currently, "Sinners" is only available in theaters, and you can find showtimes near you through Fandango. If you’re hoping to watch it at home, you’ll need to be patient. The film is a Warner Bros. release, which means it will eventually stream on Max, the service formerly known as HBO Max. While there’s no exact date yet, it’s expected that "Sinners" could be available for digital rental or purchase in early May 2025, with streaming on Max possibly beginning in early July.

For fans of Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler, this film marks yet another collaboration between the two, following their successful partnerships on "Black Panther," "Creed," and "Fruitvale Station." If you want to catch "Sinners" right away, your best bet is to head to a theater this weekend.
