A chapter president of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) was attacked on the campus of the University of Texas in Dallas on Tuesday. Paige Neumann and her chapter vice president, Grace, were at a table handing out literature when a person on a bike approached them and launched an assault. The attacker used a metal bike lock, hitting Paige in the head and destroying both of their phones in the process.
TPUSA CEO Charlie Kirk shared details about the incident on social media, including photos and videos. He stated that University Police have been informed and are actively searching for the suspect. Kirk reported that both Paige and Grace are physically okay despite the violent encounter.
In his posts, Kirk expressed gratitude for the resilience of TPUSA students, calling them brave and strong. He also mentioned that they suspect the attacker may be the same individual who previously disrupted an event featuring Alex Stein. A producer for Stein’s show, “Prime Time with Alex Stein,” supported this claim, stating that the person had caused trouble at a recent event by damaging equipment and confronting them.
The situation has raised concerns about safety on campus, and the university police are taking the matter seriously as they work to identify and locate the assailant.
